Black Milk - Pressure (MIXED CD)

For those uninitated with Black Milk, he is a Hip-Hop producer hailing from "Motor City" Detroit, Michigan (where the late, great J Dilla hailed from). He has produced tracks for Slum Village, J Dilla, Pharoahe Monch, Guilty Simpson among other noteables. Known for his hard-knocking beats, he is just as good at rocking a mic as he is banging his fingers on the MPC. I've provided a new mix cd of his.

Hi Haters!! I'm Back Off Hiatus

It's been a hot minute since I've updated the Hoodsense blog, but I'm back. Got some ill shit lined up for y'all. First, I got an EXCLUSIVE remix of NaS' "Where Are They Now", featuring some ol' skool Hip-Hop legends. Here's the complete line-up: Redhead Kingpin, Rob Base, Original Spinderella, Father MC, Monie Love, Mike Gee of the Jungle Brothers, E-S-T of 3XDope, Positive K, Das Efx, DoItAll of Lords of the Underground, Chip-Fu of the Fu-Schnickens and Dres of Black Sheep. If you don't know majority of these cats, well that's quite alright, but you do need some quick lessons in 90's Hip-Hop. It's great to hear the same MC's that ripped mic's 10 years ago rip the mic in the present. & it's not at all like they're wack, these cats are still bringing heat. Okay, so without further delay, here are two links...

And finally, a new track by Pete Rock & DJ Doo Wop called "Hip-Hop Ain't Dead". The version of this I have was ripped from Hip-Hop Game dot com so it's a little quiet, if anyone has a better, louder version, please email it to me (email is at the top of the page).
